Many of the my images come from memories I have of growing up in a farm community in Western Wisconsin and many trips our family took to kentucky
to visit my Mom's family. My art has been influenced by the many stories
I heard from books and the people around me.
My art projects are divided between illustrations and paintings. This includes magazines, posters, book covers, corporate work and portraits. In and out of art school I've dabbled in photography, ceramics, sculpture and viewing lots of movies.
I graduated with a bachelors degree from The Art Institute of Chicago and a
masters from The Savannah School of Art and Design.
